Band to release 3D Blu-ray
Deep Purple has announced that it will release a double live album, featuring the band's performances in Wacken and Tokyo. Titled 'From The Setting Sun… (In Wacken)' and '…To The Rising Sun (In Tokyo)', the album will be released on August 28th.
The band will make the show available in various formats, including DVD and Blu-ray, with the Wacken performance being the band's first 3D release.
The audio from both shows was mixed in Germany by Eike Freese and Alex Dietz, with supervision from bassist Roger Glover.
