The mystery is solved! Deep Purple has confirmed that the band's new album will be a covers album titled Turning to Crime . Scheduled for release on November 26th via earMUSIC , the album will feature reinterpretations of rock greats such as Fleetwood Mac, Cream, Bob Dylan , and more.
To celebrate the new release, the group released a cover of "7 and 7 Is" by Love, and shared the cover art and tracklist . See below. A music video for the cover will be released next week.
Turning to Crime will feature twelve tracks produced by Bob Ezrin , who also produced the group's last release, Who osh!, from 2020 , and its predecessors Infinite (2017) and Now What?! (2013). This will be the band's first album without any original compositions.
