Deep Purple has released the official music video for “Arrogant Boy”, the first single from their upcoming album, SPLAT!.The British band's 24th studio album, and their first since =1, is scheduled for release on July 3rd via earMUSIC.

In a press release, vocalist Ian Gillan said: “The point we are at now with this incarnation of Deep Purple feels very much like a 'current' version of Deep Purple as it was in the 70s. I must say that we are now back with material that is totally compatible with 'Highway Star', 'Smoke On The Water', 'Lazy'... The dynamics, the balance and the fun of the music we made from 1969 to 1973.”

The band plans to promote the new album with a huge world tour, featuring 86 shows in 28 countries. More information about the formats and special editions of the new album can be found on the official Deep Purple website.

Deep Purple recently announced their return to Brazil for a single show. The band will perform on December 5th at the Suhai Music Hall in São Paulo. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, the 7th, starting at 10 AM, exclusively through the Eventim.
