This Friday, the 30th, Dee Snider released his solo album Leave a Scar , the fifth of his career. To celebrate the new release, the musician also released the music video for "Down But Never Out".
Leave a Scar was produced by Jamey Jasta , frontman of Hatebreed , and Nick Bellmore , who was also responsible for mixing and mastering. Speaking about the creative process, Snider said he actively participated in writing the lyrics because he “wanted and needed” the album to be a message for those whose voices are denied and who need someone to “speak on their behalf.”
With this inspiring message, Dee Snider explains that "Down But Never Out," a song that received a music video alongside the album's release, is about "cheering people up and inspiring them to get up and have the courage to fight."
