Iron Maiden , we have visitors: Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider recently stated that the celebrated and highly contested Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is, in fact, "elitist" and "arrogant."
On his official Twitter account, the artist responded to a fan who questioned why Bruce Dickinson refused induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame , calling the institution "run by hypocritical American bastards." Snider didn't mince words in his reply: "The members of the Rock and Roll Hall committee are arrogant elitist idiots who despise metal and other bands that sell millions because we're not their definition of cool. The fan vote is them 'throwing a bone' to the peasants. I want to say f*ck off, but I want them to have to deal with us!"
