Ded Drops has released a new song, and it's a preview of what's to come on the band's new album.
“This is totally a Ded song,” says vocalist Joe Cotela . “I think this is going to be a fan favorite live in the future, once shows start happening again. It’s also one of the heaviest tracks from the new series of songs we’re working on.”
Regarding the composition of the single, Cotela says, “Lyrically, 'Parasite' is written from the point of view of a human illness – be it anxiety, addiction, depression, or anything else. It's an invisible monster inside us that torments us and feeds on us. It's empowering and cathartic for me to be in those shoes; it brings me closer to understanding my demons. Educating ourselves and confronting them is fundamental for personal growth, healing, and positive change.”
