Death By Metal pays homage to Chuck Schuldiner.
Death By Metal is a documentary about Death's vocalist and guitarist , Chuck Schuldiner , and will be released on DVD on July 6th by MVD Visual, and will be available on Amazon, Google Play and iTunes.
Featuring exclusive interviews, rare footage, and demos, the documentary is the first to honor Schuldiner, and was directed by Canadian filmmaker Felipe Belalcazar.
“It’s an official documentary approved by the family,” said Belalcazar. “I did more than 22 interviews […] We interviewed his mother, who told us everything, from the first day he played guitar until he passed away. It was one of the most difficult interviews I’ve ever done. We also interviewed his niece, his sister, two or three members of each lineup, and the producer Jim Morris.”
Chuck Schuldiner's career was cut short in 2001 when he passed away due to cancer.
