American thrash metal band Death Angel Summer Of Wrath , scheduled for the summer of 2025.

Furthermore, Mark Osegueda , the band's vocalist, commented on the creative process behind the new song (via Blabbermouth ):

“‘Wrath (Bring Fire) is the first Death Angel song with the entire band to be released since our Grammy-nominated album ‘Humanicide’ in 2019. This song was, however, written during the pandemic. I wrote the lyrics and melody of this song in January 2021. During that time, I was, like all of us, stuck at home, lost, angry, and very confused. I was also watching much more television than usual.”

However, the vocalist adds that many television programs dealt with the medieval/fantasy theme. However, these topics were new to him.

“We all needed new forms of escapism from the global hell we were going through. That being said, that’s partly what inspired these lyrics. An ancient/medieval fantasy of the end of the world war meets my real approach in disputes.”
