Two essential death metal albums are being re-released in Brazil on CD: Death 's Symbolic and Deicide 's Legion are the new albums being released through a partnership between Wikimetal and Oporto da Música, in a special slipcase edition.
Considered one of the best death metal albums of all time, Symbolic is Death's masterpiece. Released in 1995, it incorporated more melodic elements into the band's intense sound, and was Death's last album with drummer Gene Hoglan.
Legion by Deicide, released in 1992, also became a classic of the genre: considered the band's best and most ambitious album, it's full of technical and brutal riffs.
Through a partnership between Wikimetal and Oporto da Música, plans are underway to reissue several other classic rock and metal albums that were previously unavailable in the country. Last month, albums by Metal Church and Overkill were released on CD for the first time in Brazil.
The albums are now available for purchase at major retailers and online via Wikimetal Store .
