Dead Fish and Oficina G3 confirmed by the Franco Rock Festival production team, in addition to artists Roland Grapow and Ciça Moreira .
Franco do Rock, in partnership with Galeria Rock Fest, will be a free event held on July 20th and 21st, 2024 in the city of Franco da Rocha (SP).
The band Dead Fish, from Espírito Santo, famous for hits like "Queda Livre" and "Você", will perform on Saturday, July 20th, celebrating the release of their new album Labirinto da Memória . On the same day, Spine Shiver will also perform, bringing hits like "Nightsong" and "The Council".
Oficina G3, celebrating the classic "Humanos" with a tour revisiting the greatest hits of their career, will perform on Sunday, July 21st.
Up-and-coming young artist Ciça Moreira, known for songs like "Anticorpos" and "Mentira Favorita," will also perform on Sunday.
German guitarist Roland Grapow, former member of Helloween , will make a special appearance at the Golpe de Estado , also on the 21st.
Festival Lineup
With these announcements, Franco do Rock, which has the support of the Franco da Rocha City Hall and Galeria do Rock, confirms the main headliners for the two days:
July 20th, Saturday: Dead Fish, John Wayne , Sujera , Spine Shiver;
July 21st, Sunday : Oficina G3, Banda AL9 , Golpe de Estado (with Roland Grapow), Ciça Moreira.
The shows will take place at the Benedito Bueno de Morais Municipal Park, which has a capacity of approximately 50,000 people. The expectation is that the festival will become the largest in the interior of São Paulo state in the hard rock and heavy metal genres. The park's address is R. Joaquim Nunes Pereira, 400 – Centro, Franco da Rocha, SP.
Local Bands
The Franco do Rock Fest will also give space to local bands, with several confirmed acts, including Operador , Audiozumb , Breu , Kalterium , Retaliador , Face of Metal , Rodolfos , Man in the Case , This Lizzy , Insulto , Curvo Society , Jump , Hariel Importi e Banda , Shock Térmico , Músicos P/Acampamentos , 1001 Doses , Amarelo 7 , Barato da Basileia , Gatos Feios , Vila do Refúgio , Leo Rocker and the Old Boys , Sunrise, Sidren , A Pedra do Reino Animal , Fibonattis , Wareign , Evil Sense , Os Egoístas , Coristas de Rock and some guest bands such as Skin Culture , Astrea and João da Nica .
Structure and Attractions
The festival will feature two stages and over 40 bands of different rock styles, as well as local artists. Fans will be able to enjoy a variety of attractions, such as an exhibition of tuned and classic cars. In addition to the shops of the Galeria do Rock, there will be skateboarding and basketball competitions, rap battles, hip hop performances, and talks about music and the market.
The food court will offer a variety of culinary options, with a focus on craft beers. There will also be a camping area available for participants who wish to make the most of their weekend.
