Dead Fish will be the opening act for You Me At Six in Brazil.
The announcement came from the production company 30e, which confirmed the Brazilian group's performance at shows on December 10th and 13th in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, respectively.
This will be the British group's first time in Brazil, having recently released the album Truth Decay . Released in February of this year, the band discovered that "you don't really know where you're going if you don't know where you came from".
The band consists of: Josh Franceschi on vocals, Max Helyer and Chris Miller on guitars, Matt Barnes on bass, and Dan Flint on drums. “We were very proud to have tried so many new things on Suckapunch (2021) and we had a lot of courage to do it,” says Franceschi. “This time, we wanted to refine a particular identity for the band, more than we have done in the past. We had to look back to figure out where we wanted to go,” he adds.
Dead Fish consists of Rodrigo Lima on vocals, Marcos “Marcão” Melloni on drums, Ricardo “Ric” Mastria on guitar, and Igor Tsurumaki on bass. The band from Espírito Santo, formed in 1991, became very well-known in the hardcore scene, in addition to having an active political stance.
