Dayseeker released his new single “Bloodlust” this Friday, the 26th. This is the fourth single from his sixth album, Creature In the Black Night , scheduled for release on October 24th by Spinefarm Records.

Produced by Daniel Braunstein ( Spiritbox, Silent Planet ) and mixed by Zakk Cervini ( Blink-182, Bring Me The Horizon, Lorna Shore ), the album is Dayseeker's most immersive and intentional work to date—dark, cinematic, and permeated by an intense (and seductively obscure) emotional current.

In addition, the Californian band also released the music video for the title track . The song is a melancholic and ethereal anthem—everything fans have come to love about Dayseeker's sound: impressive and dramatic vocal transitions, Rodriguez's unmistakable falsetto, a growing sonic tension that explodes into a climax, and delicate melodies that coexist with breakdowns .

Vocalist Rory Rodriguez commented: “ Creature In The Black Night is the darker side of your consciousness taking over. It’s about that intense feeling that you become dependent on and can’t ignore.” The song follows the release of “Pale Moonlight,” released at the end of April, which has already accumulated over 10 million streams.

Although not a concept album in the traditional sense, Creature in the Black Night presents a thematic cohesion—from the dark visual identity and iconography of Death to the sinister atmosphere, and the way the songs unfold like chapters of a story. “There’s a horror movie-inspired vibe that emerged right from the start,” explains Rodriguez. “It wasn’t planned. But when it started appearing in the songs, we decided to embrace that aesthetic.”
