The American post-hardcore band Dayseeker Evanescence , a hit from their second studio album Fallen (2003, Wind-up Records).
Vocalist Rory Rodriguez spoke a bit more about the choice of song (via Theprp ): “'My Immortal' is a song I've loved since I first heard it in high school. I've always really wanted to do a cover, but the timing didn't feel right until we started this album. It's easily my favorite cover we've ever done.”
The track will be featured on the band's 6th album, titled Replica (2024), which will consist entirely of covers and is scheduled for release on April 19th.
Dayseeker consists of Rory Rodriguez (vocals), Gino Sgambelluri (guitar), Ramone Valerio (bass), and Mike Karle (drums).
