Mötley Crüe biopic , The Dirt , premieres on March 22nd on Netflix. Meanwhile, more information is emerging. The latest is that one of the characters in the film is David Lee Roth , the lead singer of Van Halen.
The character will not be played by himself, but by the actor Christian Gehring .
Rapper Machine Gun Kelly commented on Roth's appearance in an interview. He said he really wanted to be in the film and initially auditioned to play the lead singer. He was later cast in a larger role, that of drummer Tommy Lee.
Therefore, Gehring won the role of Roth. The actor has been working in television for the past seven years. He is part of the series Schooled and has appeared in Modern Family , The Brink , and NCIS: Los Angeles .
