David Lee Roth released an unreleased song called “Manda Bala” last weekend. The track was supposedly recorded in 2007 as part of a project with guitarist John 5 (via Blabbermouth ), which was never officially released.

Despite the curious use of a popular Brazilian expression in the chorus, the rest of the song is sung in English. According to Blabbermouth , the track was one of five songs included in an online comic book narrated by Lee Roth himself, called The Roth Project , in 2020. Other previously unreleased tracks are “Giddy-Up!”, “Somewhere Over The Rainbow Bar and Grill”, “Alligator Pants” and “Lo-Rez Sunset”.

In an interview with Paltrocast With Darren Paltrowitz , John 5 said that the recording sessions were a lot of fun and that David Lee Roth wanted it to be like "the old days." "We had a lot of fun. We laughed a lot, it was a lot of fun," he commented.
