David Lee Roth released a new song called “Scotch and Sofa 4” last Friday, the 12th.

The singer has been releasing a series of standalone singles, this being the most recent and probably the most different one so far.

“Scotch and Sofa 4” has salsa and disco influences, and one detail that won't go unnoticed by Van Halen is that the chorus's cadence is the same as “Hot For Teacher”.

The song is available on Roth's YouTube channel, without much information, however there is speculation that the singles recently released by David are part of a session recorded at Henso Recording Studios in Hollywood with John 5 on guitar, Greg Bissonette on drums, Brett Tuggle on keyboards and Luis Conte on percussion.
