David Lee Roth made a surprise appearance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2026 last Friday, the 10th. The former Van Halen vocalist went on stage during Teddy Swims ' show to sing the classic "Jump" .
Swims told the audience, “My God! It’s David Lee Roth from the best band of all time, Van Halen!” David came on stage dressed in a leather vest and tight pants to perform a relaxed version of “Jump.” During the performance, he and Swims joked about minor mistakes and laughed on stage.
The moment was part of a special set by pop artist Teddy Swims, where the stage was set up like a prop apartment, complete with a door and doorbell. Each surprise guest appeared as if they were "entering" the house.
Before Roth, other guests appeared, such as Joe Jonas, who sang a Jonas Brothers hit , and Vanessa Carlton performed the hit “A Thousand Miles”.
Coachella 2026 took place from April 10-12 and from April 17-19 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, United States.
