On Monday, David Lee Roth announced that he will be adding four extra dates to his Las Vegas shows, which, according to the singer, will be the last of his career.
Lee Roth, who has dates scheduled for January 1st, 5th, 7th, and 8th, has now added two weekends to the list, bringing the dates to 14th, 15th, 21st, and 22nd. “I had no idea how many of you wanted to pay to see me [laughs], so I’m putting more tickets on sale instead of doing the wrong thing and annoying more people,” Lee Roth commented in an audio message.
The musician announced in October that these would be his farewell shows , but said he wouldn't explain his decision, mysteriously commenting that "the explanation is in a safe."
During Friday's audio message, David Lee Roth confided: “Look, I'm vulnerable. I feel sensitive. If I sound like this to you, I'm in the middle of my first retirement. And I'm going to extend my farewell tour in Las Vegas at the House Of Blues for two more weekends – like any good barbecue.”
