David Ellefson has several ventures beyond music: in addition to selling videos with personalized messages for fans , the bassist is now selling autographed official Megadeth .

Currently, Ellefson is in the band The Lucid , which released its first studio album on October 15th of this year. "It's fun to create something just for the sake of creating it and not because it has to be motivated by anything else. So, I think I'm fine with where I am now. To be honest, I'm perfectly content and happy with where I am now," the bassist stated in an interview after being dismissed from Megadeth .
