The vocalist even invited the fan to join them for the last song.
David Draiman , frontman of Disturbed , recently interrupted a show to save a fan from a mosh pit.
In the video below, you can see Draiman in the corner of the stage saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, I’m speaking to you here in the front. All of you, I saw what happened.” The video cuts back to when the vocalist invites a woman to come up on stage, “Would you like to come up for our last song?”
The frontman introduces the woman to the audience and reflects on the mosh pit. “On behalf of the guys from Disturbed, I’d like to apologize for getting you involved in this mess… Some crazy people will call me sexist for protecting a woman… But anyone who isn’t very strong needs protection.” After the speech, he lets her sit next to the drums and finishes the show.
Disturbed is currently on tour promoting their album Evolution , released in October 2018.
