Awkward moment between rock legends on Twitter: David Crosby found himself in an awkward situation after responding to a tweet asking his opinion about Van Halen , to which the artist replied with "...meh".
Crosby was immediately attacked by internet users and artists such as Dee Snider and Alex Skolnick , who accused him of being disrespectful to the memory of Eddie Van Halen , who died last Tuesday, the 6th, and David's retraction was surprising: the artist had forgotten about the guitarist's death.
“Yes, you Van Halen fans, I gave an answer that wasn’t nice… and the even more embarrassing truth is… I didn’t even remember he had died or I would have kept my mouth shut… I make mistakes… it wasn’t intentional,” Crosby wrote.
Last week, names ranging from Ozzy Osbourne to Evanescence expressed their tributes and condolences on the tragic passing of the guitarist. Click here to see them.
