The edition will be released on October 27th

Whitesnake had announced that they would be releasing a commemorative edition of their 1987 album , the self-titled work that featured the hit "Here I Go Again".

Now, the band has released a video of David Coverdale showing the deluxe box set in detail. "Look at the size of this! It looks like the Lord of the Rings trilogy ," he says in the video.

The album features remastered original tracks in digital, CD, and LP formats, and its special edition, Whitesnake: Super Deluxe Edition, will include four discs with remastered original tracks, alternate versions, live recordings, and a DVD with music videos and a thirty-minute documentary about the album's recording.

The deluxe version also includes some song lyrics written in the band members' own handwriting and photos from their personal collection.
