After Whitesnake Rock Imperium festival at the last minute David Coverdale 's health problems .
According to a statement written by David himself, he is currently suffering from a sinus and trachea infection. His doctor reportedly recommended that the singer remain in bed for five days and refrain from singing, which led to the cancellation of the shows on June 28th and 30th. A decision regarding the July 2nd performance in Croatia will be made by the band in the coming days.
“I’m so sorry to the fans who planned to see us on the Farewell Tour in each of those cities – I intend to get better as quickly as possible and be able to do the remaining shows on the European tour. You are all in our hearts!”, wrote Coverdale.
Tommy Aldridge 's health last weekend. Apparently, Aldridge hadn't been feeling well, which led Whitesnake to cancel their appearance at the Rock Imperium Festival at the last minute.
After the festival announced that the drummer was facing "serious health problems," David Coverdale assured that his colleague was recovering and that the festival promoter had provided "misleading" information about the severity of the situation.
Whitesnake is currently on its farewell tour after 44 years on the road. Last September , David Coverdale turned 70 and said it was "important" for him to have some kind of "closure" and be able to say goodbye to the band. The vocalist also assured that Whitesnake's retirement refers only to live performances and that he even has "new ideas" for studio work with the band.
