The American television channel VH1 has announced that it is preparing to release the legendary David Bowie on the show Storytellers , which took place on August 23, 1999.

Bowie included in the set all the classics that represent his various phases and some surprises such as "Can't Help Thinking About Me," which was played for the first time in 33 years, and "Word On A Wing.".

The performance was previously released on CD and DVD in 2009, but will now be released on vinyl on October 11th. The re-release will also include some bonus tracks. The show's executive producer spoke a little about the new release: “Bowie has a place that belongs only to him in rock n' roll. He is not only one of the most influential musicians of this era, but he also didn't do anything unless he was completely committed.”

David Bowie died on January 10, 2016, from liver cancer. He had released the album Blackstar just two days earlier.
