David Bowie iconic album Aladdin Sane (1973) will be re-released to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The new edition will be released on April 14th and will include new LP reprints.

Aladdin Sane contains the hits "The Jean Genie" and "Drive-In Saturday" and was released a year after The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, the album that propelled Bowie to astronomical heights. Aladdin Sane also features the musician's most iconic album cover.

Alongside the release, which is already available for pre-order , new merchandise from the singer will be available, such as posters, water bottles, stickers, and more. To celebrate the new release, a 4K version of "The Jean Genie" has been launched, which you can find at the end of this article.

This is just the latest in a growing collection of posthumous Bowie releases. Last November, Parlophone shared Divine Symmetry , a massive box set of the Hunky Dory .
