A new documentary about the legendary David Bowie is being produced and will serve as a non-chronological sequel to David Bowie: Five Years (2013) and David Bowie: The Last Five Years (2017), originally released by the British broadcaster BBC.

According to the specialized website David Bowie News , the new documentary will be titled David Bowie: The First Five Years and will focus on the early years of the rock chameleon's career. The film is expected to be released in 2019.
