The demo was recorded for the band Spiders from Mars in 1971

A demo believed to be the first recording of David Bowie has been found and will be auctioned in England.

The recording was made in 1971 for the group Spiders from Mars and reached the hands of guitarist Mick Ronson , who passed it on to Kevin Hutchinson because he wanted to learn the song.

The demo also features early recordings of "Moonage Daydream" and "Hang Onto Yourself" and will be auctioned at Merseyside's Omega Auctions, where it is expected to sell for over £10,000, approximately R$ 50,000.
