The first video from the film that will tell the story of David Bowie in the pre-Ziggy Stardust era was recently released by Variety . The production's name is fitting for this period of the musician's career, being titled Stardust .
The legend, who will be played by Johnny Flynn , talks in the video with his publicist, Ron Oberman ( Marc Maron ), about the record label's insecurities regarding Bowie's music in the United States, but receives a great vote of confidence from the publicist, who states that the artist will be the biggest star in the country (and so it was), but that for this to happen, Bowie needs to believe in himself too, otherwise they're screwed.
It's important to remember that the film is not authorized by Bowie's family, therefore none of the singer's music will be in the production.
