Instagram post that has since been deleted, Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction revealed that he has been suffering from long-term COVID since December.

Long COVID is characterized by prolonged symptoms and after-effects following infection with the COVID-19 virus. According to Loudwire , Navarro reportedly said he has been "sick" for months and still has no expectation of improvement.

“So, I’m one of those suffering from the ‘long COVID.’ I’ve been sick since December and supposedly I’ll be back to normal in… nobody knows how long. If any of you are still suffering long after testing negative, I just wanted to say you’re not alone,” the guitarist wrote in the post (via Loudwire ).

“Fatigue and isolation are really bad, but try to spend your time with the people you love and stay creative. That’s how I’m trying to get through this. Lots of spiritual practice, meditation, and yoga have been a great help too. I’ll be okay, I just don’t know when.”

Dave Navarro further added that all results are “pointing to a complete recovery,” despite the unpredictability of the timing. He concluded his post wishing “love and light” to everyone, “even those who are happy that I’m sick.”

In March, Jane's Addiction canceled their participation in Lollapalooza Brazil due to "unforeseen last-minute circumstances related to COVID-19" and were replaced in the lineup by Two Feet .
