In an interview with the website Bravewords, Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine was asked about his thoughts on the Ronnie James Dio hologram, which will be touring in December. The vocalist said that, if he could, he would make a hologram of Gar Samuelson and Nick Menza, the band's drummers who passed away. See his statement:

“Some purists say horrible things. But I think that as a widow, Wendy Dio has the right to do what she wants and we should support her in her grief. If this is how she's going to cope, if it helps her in the transition, I wish her well. I would love to see Ronnie again too.”

Would I make a hologram for Gar and Nick? Yes, absolutely. But I don't know if I'd take them on tour, I don't think so. I'm happy with our lineup as it is and I think the audience is really enjoying it too.”

Mustaine revealed that Kiko Loureiro and Dirk Verbeuren are expected to participate in the creative process of the next album: “I think Kiko is eager to play and put his mark on Megadeth's music. Dirk also wants to be a part of it.”
