Megadeth still doesn't know who their drummer will be
In an interview in Tel Aviv, Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine was asked how he welcomes new musicians to the band, such as Kiko Loureiro or Chris Adler. Mustaine replied:
“Well, I think when you're in the presence of excellence, it would be a waste not to allow the person to be excellent. But let's back up a bit. Chris Adler isn't in Megadeth. He's in Lamb Of God. He was a session musician. What's called a 'hired musician'. And he has nothing to do with us anymore, he's with his band. And I'm very grateful for his contributions. And I'm grateful that he introduced us to Dirk [ Verbeuren, who currently plays with the band ]. We haven't announced who our drummer will be yet. But it won't be Chris Adler because he's in Lamb Of God.”
's shows in Brazil will take place in August; it is not yet known which drummer will be joining.
