He talks about his initial vision for the band.
Dave Mustaine, frontman of Megadeth, answered some questions from his fans on his official Twitter account. One of them was about the plans he had for the band when he started.
“My measure of success was whether I had eaten a meal that day or not, and my goal was to destroy Metallica and stop living in a van. Well, I got over my animosity about leaving the band, I’m glad we reconciled… where are those Big 4 shows?”

Mustaine was a member of Metallica for less than two years, between 1981 and 1983, before being fired and replaced by Kirk Hammett. Soon after, he formed Megadeth.
