Mustaine chose his Top 3 as “The Threat Is Real”, “Holy Wars” and “Wake Up Dead”, but made it clear that this was a difficult choice and that other good solos might be forgotten. “It’s complicated to choose because some solos are great, but we haven’t played them in a long time, so I’ve forgotten many of them – there are two hundred songs to remember,” he said.
“Among the songs we play live and that I’m familiar with, I like “The Threat Is Real.” I love “Holy Wars.” “Wake Up Dead” is also a good solo to play; I really like that one. That was one of my first really great solos that got people interested in Megadeth.”
Dave Mustaine also assured Cameo subscribers that he will teach them how to play each of these solos "piece by piece and a little at a time" so that everyone has time to learn calmly. "I hope we can have fun together if I do this," he commented. "If not, just say it's someone from another band."
