The musician is on tour celebrating the legacy of the iconic guitarist
Dave Mustaine is currently on tour with the Experience Hendrix Tour , playing with various musicians across the United States.
At their last show, which took place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the Megadeth vocalist played "Purple Haze" and "Stone Free," and fans recorded the moment. Watch the videos below.
In “Stone Free”, Mustaine is joined by Billy Cox , the bassist who played with Jimi Hendrix and participated in the live album Band of Gypsys (1970). He is the only surviving member of Hendrix's main band to this day.
While on tour with the Experience Hendrix Tour , Mustaine is preparing Megadeth's next studio album and the Megacruise .
