After it was confirmed that Dave Mustaine had officially begun recording vocals for the new Megadeth , the frontman shared some exciting and mysterious news about the album: a cover song will be included on the tracklist.
On the Dave Mustaine Show , the artist gave more details about the progress of the release, “Lyrics, all done. Vocals, almost all done. Guitar solos, in process. And all the other little things that go on the record, the ear candy, the backing vocals, the keyboards and percussion stuff, are also happening as we speak.”
In addition to sharing that David Ellefson had recently sent another composition that Mustaine needs to complete and turn into a song, the vocalist then left fans wondering, “And I can’t wait to tell you which cover we chose for this album. I’ll tell you soon. I think you’ll understand. I’ve been giving hints for a while. But I haven’t really let anyone know,” any suggestions?
