Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine said in an interview with an American radio station that he is already planning a tribute to drummer Nick Menza, who passed away in May. Menza was the drummer during Megadeth's classic era, having participated in "Rust In Peace," "Countdown To Extinction," "Youthanasia," "Hidden Treasures," and "Cryptic Writings." He died at the age of 51.

Mustaine says he has already spoken with the drummer's family, but it is still unclear what the tribute will be

“Well, we spoke with Nick’s family a little, but we’re so busy touring right now that the opportunity hasn’t come up. We want to do something that’s all about Nick, and the guys who joined the band after him don’t really know him. We wanted to do something that really showcased his music and his art, because he was a painter too. Maybe something like a silent auction. So it’s in the family’s hands now. We love Nick. It was a very tragic loss. We’re letting it flow and we’ll see what happens.”
