The musician is responsible for the guitar on the track

Dave Mustaine expanded his horizons and participated in a track with country singer Brett Kissel.

“Damn!” begins with a powerful riff from Mustaine that immediately transforms into an upbeat country hit. The lyrics talk about going to parties and drinking in bars while the Megadeth frontman's guitar vibrates in the background.

The musician moved to Nashville in 2015 to support his daughter Electra's music career. At the time of his move, Mustaine said: “I recorded four albums here [in Nashville] and every time I came to record, I lived here. It's very comfortable being here. The last time, Electra was only two years old, we didn't know she had the gift and as soon as she started singing, we were convinced.”

He goes on to say, “I’m a guitarist who sings, not a vocalist who plays. But she, she really is a vocalist. For her, this is the city of music. Everything is about Country. That’s where she thrives.”
