New album will be released on January 22nd
In an interview with an Australian magazine, Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine commented on the band's new album, "Dystopia," scheduled for release on January 22nd. According to the vocalist, the album brings the same excitement as the "Peace Sells... but Who's Buying?" era.
Regarding the sound, Mustaine says: “It’s easy to say it will be heavier than Super Collider. I’ve always done what I sing or compose as an example of what’s happening to me personally. I lost my mother-in-law to Alzheimer’s last year (…). I had never experienced the death of someone so close, so when she passed away it had a huge impact on me. This made the songs sound dark, somber, and melancholic.”
