Dave Mustaine will release a book telling the stories behind one of Megadeth , Rust In Peace .
The book, called Building the Perfect Beast , is co-written with Joel Selvin and is scheduled for release on September 8th.
The synopsis promises stories about "alcohol, drugs, sex, money, power, property, prestige, the lies the industry told the band, and the lies the band told itself.".
It should tell how Mustaine put together a new Megadeth lineup for that album, adding guitarist Marty Friedman and drummer Nick Menza to join him and David Ellefson . And how the songs they made elevated the band to other levels.
