Dave Mustaine delivers anti-mask speech at concert and points to "tyranny" in schools and the medical field.

The musician performed at the 'Metal Tour Of The Year' and expressed his satisfaction with the lack of mask requirements.

At a show held last Wednesday, the 15th, in Camden, Dave Mustaine demonstrated a denialist stance by going on stage and saying that the mandatory use of masks is a "tyranny".

In his speech, the Megadeth preached a kind of positive feeling of unity in being able to be in a crowd without the requirement of masks, even though North America is going through a period of high COVID-19 cases . “I just want to say how amazing this is. Look around you. Look to the left and to the right and see how wonderful this is. We’re all in this together. We’re not freaking out or yelling at people to wear the damn mask,” Mustaine said.

“Right now, what’s happening is tyranny. This is called tyranny. Look it up when you get home. And tyranny isn’t just in the government, it’s right now in schools and in the medical field. We, especially metal fans, have the power to change things. If you look at what’s happening in the Middle East right now… I talked about this a while ago in this next song, ‘Holy Wars’.” Watch the video of the moment:
