In a Cameo video (a website where people can request exclusive videos), Dave Mustaine announced the name of Megadeth : The Sick, The Dying And The Dead . The band's leader wishes a happy birthday to a fan named Joe, and during the clip he talks about the music playing in the background.
“If you listen really closely, you can hear it in the background… Look over my shoulder, there’s the Pro Tools equipment with the new album, doing a rough mix. You’re starting to hear a bit of the background from the song ‘ The Sick, The Dying And The Dead ,’ which is our title track .”
Dave Mustaine added that he was still recording and fixing some vocal tracks that same day. In addition, he also worked on his guitar solos.
"I have a few minor things regarding pacing to fix today and pre-production for the tour in the coming weeks," he said.
Megadeth's "The Tour of the Year" with Lamb Of God, Trivium , and In Flames kicks off on August 20th in Austin, Texas, and covers several cities across the United States before heading to Canada.
