Electra , daughter of Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine , shared a video on social media of a cover of The Beatles alongside her father, both in quarantine due to COVID-19.
The performance, in addition to encouraging internet users to stay home in social isolation, is part of the Music Moments , which aims to raise awareness of Alzheimer's disease through the contribution of musicians.
“Come together! Right now… in quarantine. Here’s a little #MyMusicMoment with my dad Dave Mustaine, someone I never want to lose! This is why the Mustaines stay home. We hope you do too! Wash your hands, practice social distancing and stay healthy.” Electra said.
Regarding the NGO that raises awareness about Alzheimer's disease, she said, "The Alzheimer's Association has put together a great compilation of music featuring award-winning artists, from Sting to Anthony Hamilton and Joan Jett, to bring us together virtually during this time."
And he adds, “Music is medicine! Listen to and watch videos of artists’ stories. Remember… we’re all in this together.”
