Dave Mustaine , founder of Megadeth , and his family are expanding their venture into the world of wine with their brand, House of Mustaine . Already established for some time, the company is innovating with new services to elevate its brand value in the luxury market. The wine club even has a schedule of exclusive events for members.

The people responsible for all of this are Pamela Mustaine , Dave's wife, and their daughter Electra , respectively president and vice-president of the brand. According to the website Consequence , the luxury events and trips will begin in late January 2025, with events primarily in the Nashville area, where the family resides.

The first of these, on January 30, 2025, will be the “Marche Wine Dinner” at the Yolan restaurant. The event will include sparkling wine at the reception and a tasting menu with five courses from the Marche region. The gastronomic pairings will be with wines from the House of Mustaine.

Following that, on February 22nd, House of Mustaine will host an event combining art, food, and wine, in partnership with Edible Nashville and the First Art Museum. The five-course dinner will be prepared by chefs Skylar Bush and Margot McCormack , accompanied by wines from the brand.

In addition to those mentioned above, other events will take place throughout the year, such as private access to monthly luxury travel experiences, starting with a trip to Thailand, scheduled for February. And finally, in March, the destination will be London.

Dave Mustaine, rock n' roll and wine.

It's worth mentioning here the brand's inspirations and the participation of the Megadeth guitarist in the creation of House of Mustaines.

Initially, the company began with the launch of a Cabernet Sauvignon called “Symphony Interrupted” in 2013. The wine was inspired by Megadeth's collaboration with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra. Later, House of Mustaine expanded its portfolio to include 10 limited-edition wines, highlighting artisanal production from vineyards in Italy and California.

In a press conference, Pamela explained the inspirations and objectives behind the creation of the brand: " House of Mustaine was born from the desire to unite our passions for music, culture and travel with the timeless art of winemaking," said Mustaine's wife.

Finally, she says: “Just as Dave pioneered a genre with Megadeth, we wanted to innovate in the world of wine. This journey was inspired by a love of discovering rare and little-known varieties and sharing those experiences with others.”

In addition to events, the brand stands out for its exclusive and sustainable wines, according to the official House of Mustaine :

“At House of Mustaine , we embrace the philosophy that great wines are made in the vineyard. With deep respect for the land and a passion for creating exceptional wines, we draw inspiration from the rich traditions of Italy and the innovative spirit of California. This results in wines sourced from two distinct terroirs, reflecting the connection between factors such as land, soil, and climate that encompass wine production. While each collection offers its own unique character, both reflect our commitment to quality, sustainability, and artistry.”
