Dave Murray reportedly wants to retire Iron Maiden , according to information from Regis Tadeu . The music critic cited internal sources when responding to a follower about the possibility of the band doing a final farewell tour, without reversing course like other groups.
The video is an excerpt from a live stream by Tadeu alongside businessman Paulo Baron , discussing the start of The Legacy Of The Beast Tour with a new stage design and repertoire, as well as commenting on the meeting between Steve Harris and Paul Di'Anno .
Both agree that Iron Maiden will keep their word when they announce their farewell tour, and Kiss was cited as an example, since the band already had a Farewell Tour before the current one, and therefore many doubt the group's retirement.
"I have no doubt whatsoever, when Iron Maiden says it's over, it's over. And I've said this in other live streams and I'll say it again: there's one member who, if it depended solely on him, the band would have already stopped touring, and that's Dave Murray," said Tadeu.
According to the critic and presenter, Murray "is the guy who misses his family the most" during these periods of touring. "That's information I know from people inside, who work with Iron Maiden," he said.
