Lombardo confirms tour
Drummer Dave Lombardo spoke in an interview with KLOS radio about his new band Dead Cross, which features Faith No More vocalist Mike Patton. Dead Cross is expected to release its debut album in the second half of the year.
“We didn’t really work together except through emails. What we did was record all the songs at the beginning of last year, and then the opportunity arose to look for a new vocalist. So we didn’t work together much, we just sent the songs to Patton and he recorded everything himself. But there were a lot of emails going back and forth, a lot of communication.”
Asked if the band plans to tour after the album's release, Lombardo said: “I'm very excited. I didn't know what was going to happen, if we were just going to record an album and release it, but no, Mike wants to, he's very excited.”
