Lombardo confirmed this to Rolling Stone.
The original Misfits lineup , featuring Glenn Danzig, Jerry Only, and Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein, announced today that they will be performing the reunion shows with Dave Lombardo on drums.
The band will play at the Riot Fest festival in September, with two shows already scheduled, in Denver and Chicago.
Commenting on the invitation, Lombardo told Rolling Stone: “It was an easy decision for me to join them for these monumental shows. I felt honored to have been invited, and I’m very excited to play with the band.”
