Sepultura guitarist Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo will be making a guest appearance on the band's new album. The information was revealed in a diary entry the guitarist has been keeping about the recording sessions.
According to Kisser, producer Ross Robinson received a text message from the drummer, saying he was in the area. Robinson asked if Lombardo would like to stop by the studio and do something with Sepultura; "Sure!", replied the drummer.
“When everything was ready, Eloy and Dave started playing and the magic began. The part they recorded will be the middle of one of the songs, it turned out amazing!”, says Kisser.
