Lombardo comments on his departure.
Drummer Dave Lombardo has announced his departure from Philm, his project with Gerry Nestler and Pancho Tomaselli. On the American podcast Let There Be Talk, the musician commented:
“They asked me, ‘Don’t play heavy. We want you to play lighter.’ I said ‘no’”. The drummer didn’t give any further details about what happened, saying only, “They didn’t want me to promote them while I was in the band, and I certainly won’t do it outside the band.”
