Former Slayer drummer will work on the band's new album
The American band Amen, fronted by Casey Chaos, has announced its new drummer: former Slayer Dave Lombardo. The band is currently working on a new album, produced by Ross Robinson (Korn, Limp Bizkit, Sepultura ).
Lombardo said he was excited to be part of the group: “I feel proud to have been called to be part of this great production with Ross Robinson and Casey Chaos. My career in Thrash Metal was born from my love for Punk Rock. There is an excitement in this type of music that is vital to me. It's aggressive, honest and necessary.”
Vocalist Casey Chaos also commented on Lombardo's arrival: “Dave brought so much power, aggression, and passion to our music, in a way that only he could. Without a doubt, this is the most important album I've ever worked on. I'm excited to play it live.”
