Drummers are pioneers of Thrash.
Drummers Dave Lombardo and Charlie Benante were honored yesterday at the "Bonzo Bash" ceremony for being pioneers in the Thrash Metal genre. "Bonzo Bash" is an event featuring drummers playing Led Zeppelin classics, in tribute to drummer John Bonham.
